Italian Tenor Pasquale Esposito: Arias, Standards & More

Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito returns to the historic Carmel Mission Basilica for an intimate and stirring performance. Known for the raw power and beauty of his voice, Esposito's become famous for his pop-opera style and poignant tributes to legendary opera singer and fellow tenor Enrico Caruso on PBS and elsewhere. This stripped-down, acoustic concert will feature guest soprano Victoria McDowell, who performs in Esposito's forthcoming TV special, as well as acclaimed concert pianist Russell Norman. As a trio representing the best of contemporary opera, they'll perform classic arias, Neapolitan standards and even some original compositions. A portion of the evening's proceeds will help provide underserved students with voice lessons.
